U of A / UAMS Labs

Our program is supported by state-of-the-art occupational therapy lab facilities located at the University of Arkansas and University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Campuses. These spaces are designed to foster hands-on learning, clinical reasoning, and interprofessional collaboration.

To replicate real-world practice environment, we offer fully equipped simulated living spaces, including a functional kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms and a garage. These areas allow students to master assessment and intervention techniques in an enviroment that mirror patients' environment. Our traditional classrooms equipped with smart technology such as large-screen video displays, overhead projectors and wireless internet to enhance knowledge and skill acquisition distinctive to the profession.
